The village

Les Carroz maintains a village atmosphere while offering a top alpine experience for visitors. Perched on a plateau it sits above the Chamonix valley at 1140m which makes for stunning views from the village edge and as you go up the mountain.

Winter

Les Carroz is set in the Grand Massif skiing area linked with Flaine, Morrillon, Samoens and Sixt with skiing up to 2480m. 265km of pistes include 15 black runs, 49 red runs, 55 blue runs, and 16 green runs. All ages and abilities are catered for with two ski schools in the village, as well as independent instructors and guides.

For those who don't ski there is a spa and pool, snow shoe walks, dog sledging, as well as bars and shops. You can always head up the mountain for lunch in a restaurant.
